What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine promotes the body's innate ability to heal itself , while adhering to the curative power of nature. It identifies the root cause of disease, and treats the whole person without causing harm. It educates and empowers the individual to achieve and maintain health, while focusing on disease prevention and wellness.

The benefits of adopting naturopathic principles and recommendations are numerous. These may include (but are not limited to):

As you prepare for your initial visit, (In-office or virtual), you should expect a thorough and extensive look into your whole person; including, but not limited to- physical, mental and emotional.

Components of your current state and past history should be discussed.

After the initial encounter, a full and in-depth analysis of your total person will be completed, followed by the presentation of a carefully tailored treatment plan, specifically targeted towards your individual needs.

Supplemental and botanical recommendations

About Dr. Duchac

AKA Dr. Nic!

Dr. Nectarios Duchac is a licensed naturopathic doctor, with five years of experience in the field. Dr. Nic graduated medical school in 2020, receiving his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, IL. In 2014 he received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside- Kenosha, WI.

Having graduated at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Nic has helped hundreds of people recover from COVID-19, long-covid/post-covid and post-covid-19 vaccine complications. He had also spent countless hours educating and empowering thousands of people, through pandemic-related wellness talks and online discussions. Using naturopathic modalities and principles, Dr. Nic has been able to reverse complex and debilitating cases related to adverse vaccination effects. He has had much success with post-COVID-19 vaccination complications. To many, Dr. Nic is viewed as an expert in post/long COVID and post-COVID-19 vaccination and vaccination complications. His treatment plans have been shown to reverse/undo situations that otherwise, have been deemed “hopeless”.

Dr. Nic is also an expert homeopathic case taker and practitioner, and his plans of action always align with the naturopathic therapeutic order; intervention with “the least force necessary”.

Dr. Nic’s expertise is not limited to COVID-19 recovery. He works with the most complex and chronic forms of disease and adverse symptom pictures. also known as Naturopathy, Naturopathic Medicine utilizes natural modalities and remedies, allowing the body to heal itself by "creating the conditions for health". This is based on the thought that the human body innately has the ability to heal itself and reverse disease processes, when the proper conditions are created and natural tools are correctly utilized.

are homeopathy and naturopathic medicine the same thing?

No, they are not. Homeopathy may be a tool certain Naturopathic Doctors utilize, however, Homeopathy should be understood as a separate and inclusive form of therapy.

what kind of results will I see and how long will it take?

Individual results will vary. However, many people report finding relief and improvement fairly quickly (within a few days to a few weeks). These will depend on the severity of the case and picture that is being considered.

Visits with Dr. Duchac and Dr. Asad are currently Non-Diagnostic visits (outside of the state of Minnesota/Minnesota patients). You are advised to continue working with your current doctors, and any recommendations and/or treatment plans received (outside of the state of Minnesota/Minnesota patients) should be discussed with your current doctors/physicians.

do you accept insurance?

Currently, naturopathic services are not covered by insurance companies. However, we do currently accept cash, credit cards, debit cards and HSA (Health Savings Accounts) payments.
